This is a brilliant opportunity for a hard-working and professional Finance Assistant to join an established local organisation and support their busy Accounts Manager.
Some of your duties will include:
1. Assisting with the day to day management of the sales and purchase ledger function
2. Checking purchase invoices received and matching invoices with delivery notes
3. Coding purchase invoices and inputting invoices onto the purchase ledger system
4. Preparing weekly and monthly payments by both cheque and BACs system
5. Checking sales invoices raised and posting invoices on the sales ledger
6. Allocating payments received to client account and identifying overdue accounts
