We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team at iO Associates in the UK/EU.
Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading food manufacturer, ensuring the smooth operation of their factory and maintaining equipment for optimal efficiency. The successful candidate will be integral to meeting performance targets and customer standards, focusing on safety, effectiveness, and alignment with company values.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform regular maintenance and repair of factory equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production.
* Detect and rectify machinery issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
* Respond effectively to breakdowns within a two-minute callout timeframe to maintain production flow.
* Source necessary spare parts, manage inventory, and monitor machinery performance to uphold operational standards.
* Foster strong relationships with contractors, maintain accurate records, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and waste reduction.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Possesses a formal engineering qualification (minimum level 3) with a focus on multi-skilling.
* Is familiar with the 18th Edition Electricity At Work Regulations and IOSH Health & Safety standards.
* Holds experience working in factory settings, preferably in the food industry, with hands-on engineering expertise.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of supply chains, shift planning, and technical standards.
* Displays proficiency in PLC programming, computer literacy, and holistic operations.
Competitive Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
