Ref: 23789 Workshop Manager - The Role: Manage the day-to-day operations of the control panel build team Supervise and update electrical drawings and documentations Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop Oversee the build-up and testing of all cabinets in the office Organise the transport of equipment and electrical panels to and from site Responsible for monitoring and purchasing stock required for panel manufacturing Take charge of Health & Safety in the workshop and on site Handle project documentation, including RAMS and permits Manage company resources effectively and appropriately Workshop Manager - The Person: Completed a 3-year apprenticeship (ONC, HNC is a plus) A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in managing a workshop Previous experience of maintaining workshop inventory and purchasing required Experience working with different voltages (24V AC/DC; 240V AC; 415V AC) Experience working to IEC standards is highly desired The ability to read and understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings CAD experience and knowledge in EPLAN (both are a plus) Knowledge in conveyor and robot systems, and PLC and HMI programming (all are a plus) As a Workshop Manager, you will receive a competitive salary up to £40k and benefits package.
