Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
2. Knowledge of CSP and HPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
3. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
4. Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
Duties of this role include:
5. Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
6. Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
7. Provide podiatry assessment and follow up treatment for outpatients.
8. To ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks.
9. To take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally.
10. To ensure the department maintains Circle Healthcare Physiotherapy accreditation.
11. Participate in hospital cover / on-call rotas including weeknights and weekend shifts, as required.
