About this career opportunity: The role is varied and interesting and you will play a key role in supporting the People Services team (which incorporates L&D) in providing a proficient and streamlined service with regard to all people-related administrative tasks. You will need to be proactive, driven, a great communicator and be able to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. Main role responsibilities (Please see Job Description for full details) Support the effective operation of all administration tasks for the People and L&D teams throughout the employee lifecycle. Assisting in the coordination of recruitment, selection and leaver process including pre-employment checks, new starter inductions and offboarding administration. Accurately input, update and maintain all employee data on the HRIS system and be the central escalation point for any system issues or queries, always ensuring confidentiality. Preparation and issuing of employee contracts, offer letters and other documentation. Organisation and minute taking of formal meetings required, ensuring an accurate reflection of the meeting. Support the management of sickness absence throughout the organisation, including administration of Occupational Health referrals. Responsible for ordering and monitoring PPE and office consumables. Organisation and recording of annual driving licence checks. Creation, maintaining and distribution of door entry system and key fobs. Operating within and assisting in the upkeep of all TT2’s policies and procedures and displaying the company core values. What makes you our ideal candidate? Essential requirements: CIPD Level 3 qualified (CIPD Level 5 desirable and/or willing to work towards) Previous experience in a People Services or administration environment Strong administrative and prioritisation skills Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Excellent organisation and time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word) Location and working hours: This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, based in our Wallsend office. The office hours are Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 16.30 including 30-minute unpaid lunch break and Friday 08.30 – 16.00 including 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
