Running sites with the help of the project manager and producing weekly reports on progress to the project manager with drop lines.
Responsibilities:
1. On hand to help with any fitters on site and ensure the build runs smoothly.
2. Assisting the Project Manager in managing project schedules and budgets.
3. Monitoring site progress and identifying potential issues.
4. Coordinating with other subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing safety procedures, which will then be required to produce a weekly health and safety pack to be sent to the main contractor.
6. Maintaining accurate site documentation and reporting on project progress.
7. Quality control checks on materials and workmanship.
8. Managing site logistics and deliveries in terms of booking in on contractor sites or speaking to the main contractor directly to ensure a smooth process.
9. Communicating effectively with fitters and other trades on site to devise a plan to mitigate delays caused by other trades.
10. Setting up a site checklist of materials in terms of plant and materials at the main office to ensure the right items get loaded when picked up to go to site.
11. Able to carry out site surveys if needed and attend start-up meetings with the project manager when new jobs are won.
12. May be required to work away on jobs outside of London at times and go the extra mile on an evening or weekend job.

1. Knowledge of building and construction.
2. Excellent time management and leadership skills.
3. Verbal communication skills.
4. Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
5. Good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project skills.
Qualifications:
1. Management degree in construction ideally but not essential.
2. First aid qualification.
3. SSSTS qualification.
4. Asbestos Awareness Qualification but not critical.
