- and right now we are looking to recruit for a Health and Fitness Supervisor to join our centre.
We are now looking for a Health and Fitness Supervisor to supervise all aspects of Health and Fitness activity delivery in the Centre by ensuring the Health and Fitness team provide inspiring, results driven fitness coaching and supervision to customers in accordance with the Customer Intimacy Health and Fitness programme.
Your main responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of the Health & Fitness Customer Journey.
- Lead and develop the group exercise programme
- Manage, lead, coach and inspire the health and fitness team to ensure the provision of safe, appropriate, fun, and results-based fitness coaching activities to customers.
- Support and guide the fitness team to understand and be able to set safe, effective activity programmes, undertake customer inductions and fitness assessments and be able to facilitate customers to set SMART exercise goals.
- Provide training to the health and fitness team where appropriate and necessary.
- Contribute to planning and marketing and operational delivery strategies as required by the Cluster Health & Fitness Manager.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- As Health and Fitness Supervisor, you will possess a recognised qualification that allows entry at REPS Level 3. You may be appointed in possession of REPS Level 2 on the condition that REPS Level 3 is achieved within 6 months of appointment. You must also be qualified to teach one or more of Exercise to Music, Spinning or Les Mills programmes.
- Exercise Coaching and Instruction
- Exercise Programming
- Needs Analysis and Goal Setting
- Low, medium, and high-risk referral populations
- Previous Supervisory experience
- Health, safety and professionalism in exercise and fitness instruction.
