About the Role
As the ACNM you will lead a dynamic team that covers the Day of Surgery admissions and discharges (DOSA), Post Anaesthetic Care unit (PACU), Preadmissions and Acute Pain Service. Your main role will be to actively lead and support, provide professional supervision, mentor and support career development & growth within the team. You will be part of an integrated perioperative team and work in collaboration to ensure efficient functioning of the unit and to provide high standard of care to our patients and their whanau.

About You
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
* Current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse.
* Recent relevant pre and post-operative experience of at least 5 years.
* Recent experience leading and developing teams.
* Holds a currently assessed expert level or designated senior nurse level PDRP via an approved Nursing Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP).
* Postgraduate qualification in nursing/health with ongoing tertiary study plans or at least one postgraduate paper completed.
* Credibility and integrity (embraces professionalism and ethical practice).
* Ability to grasp implications of a situation quickly and make effective decisions.
* Be passionate about the delivery of safe patient care.
