An excellent opportunity has arisen in Stockport for an Alternative Provision Teacher, paying £30,000 - £44,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
As an Alternative Provision Teacher, you will be responsible for:
1. Planning and teaching engaging lessons catered to students' academic levels and learning needs.
2. Employing specialised techniques to deliver curriculum to students with SEMH/behavioural issues.
3. Fostering a safe, supportive classroom environment through challenging environments.
4. Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies.

The successful Alternative Provision Teacher will have the following related skills / experience:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Unqualified teachers will still be considered if you have a proven track record of previous experience within SEND).
2. Experience of KS3/KS4 curriculum.
3. Contribute to citizenship, SMSC and enterprise according to school policy.
4. Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils.
5. A strong positive role model.
