Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Looking for someone with 2D Electrical design experience eager to join a business that offers exciting projects, fantastic learning and development, and a fantastic career journey. This will include new product development and working with a dynamic team to generate or modify electrical harnesses for prototypes or specific orders.
Electrical Engineer main responsibilities:
* Produce 2D CAD drawings of wiring harnesses to relevant ISO standards
* Produce and maintain accurate bills of materials
* Create detailed schematic drawings of the electrical system for the business' technical publications
* Understand and use electrical wiring hardness schematic to build or modify harnesses for development or production
* Liaise with production to achieve completion of production and prototype machines
* Engage in the prototyping of new components, their evaluation and testing
Requirements for the successful Electrical Engineer:
* Experience and knowledge of automotive electrics, electronics and CAN bus
* Ability to read technical schematics and harness drawings
* Experience drawing automotive harnesses
* Experience or wiliness to learn 2D & 3D CAD software (E3, SolidWorks etc)
