We are looking for a qualified, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Paediatric ACP to complement our established team within the Children’s Emergency Department.
The PACP role will be at the forefront of service provision and integral in supporting the Multidisciplinary Team in the provision and delivery of prompt, safe and timely intervention .
The PACP will work over a 24hr period, 7 days a week, usually 11.5 hr shifts.
You will provide professional leadership, clinical expertise and manage same day presentations of patients to ESNEFT Children's Emergency Department in Colchester.
The post holder will act as a role model, delivering advanced practice and promoting clinical effectivenessin care. The PACP will be required to work autonomously in delivering independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making and planning of care and treatment, prescribing, health promotion and safe discharge or admission of patients.
The post holder will work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team and will contribute to service development. They will also provide appropriate nurse leadership as required ensuring the maintenance of clinical excellence and support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
