About the Role:
As an Accounting Manager, you will support the Head of Group Accounting (HoGA) in accurately recording the financial activity of their responsible Region to enable the Management of Icomera to make timely strategic decisions. In this role you will also ensure that all regulatory deadlines relating to Annual Reporting and Tax are adhered to and in keeping with the Accounting regulations of the region and of the Group. This is achieved by monitoring and supporting the Accounting team where required, ensuring processes are efficient, well documented and followed by the teams.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the regional accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure smooth month-end processes and approve all balance sheet reconciliations, reporting any anomalies.
* Ensure Accounting is in line with Regional and Group legislation.
* Approve bank payments and monitor cash flow, providing monthly reports.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and drive Accounting process improvements.
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders.
* Assist the Regional Financial Controller (RFC) in budget and forecasting processes as needed.
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to fulfill annual reporting requirements.
Requirements:
* ACCA/ACA Qualified
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Experience in SAP is preferred
