About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
* Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of student abilities.
* Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback.
* Contributing to the development of the Music Department’s curriculum and resources.
* Directing and producing school productions.
* Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborating with colleagues both within the Music Department and across the school.
* Engaging in professional development opportunities to further enhance your teaching skills.
Experience and Qualifications:
* A Music-related Degree.
* QTS or PGCE.
* Experience as a Music Teacher (ECTs welcome).
Salary: The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
