We’re looking for someone to support DTFS UK become a data led decision-making business. This role is core role to the analysis, assimilation and visualisation of our data assets. This role is perfect if you’d like to be crucial to the development of the business, through creating and publishing insights into performance, trends and emerging data concepts for Truck and Bus developments. Through specialist reporting, analytics and KPI development you will support and drive the performance of DTFS UK in partnership with the Dealer networks of our brand partners, whilst continually identifying commercial opportunities and risks through excellent data visualisation and presentations. Responsibilities WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Working in this role, collaborating across the Company, will include: Ownership of the creation and development of the suite of dashboards and KPI reports, utilising both the central Miles to Market (M2M) self-service data-warehouse connected PowerBI reports and the local PowerBI reporting capability, to fulfil the key commercial requirements of the role. Implement, manage and continually evaluate robust processes for planning and forecasting the achievement of Sales and Operations targets. Produce and manage daily/monthly KPI reports whilst developing presentation packs to allow transparency of commercial performance across all brand partner sales channels and field team activity. Development of Dealer Network performance including penetration targets, performance league tables and regular Dealer Visit reports, intended to drive finance engagement and performance across the Truck Network. Working closely with the Head of Controlling and the Sales Director, review DTFS UK data to analyse all activity (e.g. quotes, approvals, activations and lost sales) to understand the success of DTFS campaign offers and the general pricing proposition in the market. Fostering a culture of data led decision making, market gaps and trends will be identified, the reasons for these, and proactively share the results to inform recommended actions. Support all functions of the business in the development and maintenance of business intelligence reporting, in order to support decision making and the ongoing drive to enhance the customer and dealer experience. Through collaboration with the owners of multiple and diverse data sources, deliver accurate insightful reporting and analysis; identify any systems updates and developments that could negatively impact on reporting and MI and to work with IT partners and system owners to resolve data quality and availability issues; liaise with internal and external data suppliers when data needs to be enhanced to deliver on changing requirements. Qualifications THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH You may have all/some of these skills: Skilled and experienced user of MI tools, e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, SQL, etc. with an ability to create reports from the user requirements to delivery Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint High level of technical and numerical skill required to work with large and diverse datasets, multiple data extraction tools and extensive data manipulation Advanced analytical and IT skills obtained from qualification, degree or relevant work experience Broad commercial experience with an external customer mindset Proactive approach and an effective influencer High organisational and planning abilities with deadline focus Highly effective written and oral communication skills for building productive working relationships, creating alignment and producing results Creative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo You don’t bring everything with you?
