AWS is seeking an experienced sales professional to help manage the customer relationship in the Game industry. As a Sr. Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Cloud Computing adoption within the most dynamic companies in Korea. Your responsibilities will include communicating with the customer’s leadership team, with the goals of maximizing customer success and customer satisfaction.
Key job responsibilities
1. Drive cloud usage growth and market share in the assigned territory.
2. Meet or exceed quarterly business goals.
3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
4. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
5. Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
6. Manage and support customer interactions.
7. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction.
The account manager will closely work with customers in Telco to promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical and help customers to adopt cloud as a trusted advisor. The account manager should maintain a robust opportunity pipeline and work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption. The account manager should orchestrate resources for executions in the center of engagement and work with SA (Solutions Architect), Business Development Manager, Professional Service Manager, Partner Manager, and the global service team to execute the plan.

About the team
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
The Telco team is a key enterprise segment to cover telecommunication verticals in Korea. The team is one of the fastest growing teams in accordance with customer’s cloud first strategy and account managers are dedicatedly supported by various cross-functional teams in AWS. The center of our efforts is on helping to make our customers successful on the AWS platform, with business outcomes that fully realize the benefits that cloud computing offers. By focusing on their success, both companies make growth together.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
2. 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
2. Experience developing detailed go to market plans.
