An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cardiothoracic Department at the Northern General Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our fast-paced ever-growing variable service.
The position requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to embrace and facilitate change. Strong literacy and numeracy skills paired with excellent communication and time management are essential, as are advanced IT skills across the range of Microsoft Office applications.
The Cardiothoracic Directorate is a passionate, dedicated, and friendly team with a supportive network happy to share their knowledge.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide first-line management to the Cardiothoracic secretarial and administrative teams and, with the support of the Operational Support Manager, contribute to and maintain effective systems and processes across the Directorate, ensuring that all resources are utilized efficiently.
