Discovery Educational Trust - Marketing and Communications Manager
Essex Scale 9-10 depending on experience - £39,332-£47,437 including Fringe Allowance
We are recruiting our first Marketing and Communications Manager for Discovery Educational Trust. This is a brand new role and presents a fantastic opportunity to shape and develop the Trust's marketing strategy with future growth in mind. We are looking for a creative individual with enthusiasm to tackle both the core operational and strategic elements of this role and to build our marketing and communications offering from the ground up. A background in the education sector may be helpful, but this is not essential and we welcome applications from experienced marketing professionals from other sectors.
The post will be integral to our Central Trust Team, reporting directly into our CEO. You will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Teams in our five schools and in collaboration with colleagues in our central HR, Finance, Operations, IT and Governance teams.
The vacancy is advertised as full time with the opportunity to do some work remotely; however, we welcome conversations on part time options for the right candidate. Applicants must be flexible in terms of being able to travel between the three primary schools and two secondary schools within our Trust, when required. Our schools are Brentwood and Southend based and you will have the option to choose your primary base as either St Martins School (Brentwood) or Chase High School (Southend on Sea).
We aim to schedule interviews for week commencing 25th November.
