Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school near Yardley to join their staff on a long-term basis. The school’s mission is to ensure that they have a school community that empowers and inspires all. Our client wants to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in their resource base which is a seperate classroom dedicated to children with SEN. Most of the children in the base are autistic and some are nonverbal. Responsibilities in this role include supporting the children to meet their individual needs, keeping the children engaged and monitoring their progress. This Teaching Assistant role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full-time, 8:30-3:30.
