We have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly Benefits Team at East Hampshire District Council.
The focus of the role is to verify claims, changes of circumstances and decide entitlement to Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Discretionary Housing Benefit. You’ll be a conscientious person who will be responsible for their own case load which involves dealing with customers by telephone, through our digital channels and in person for which good organisational, numerical and communication skills are essential.
This is a career graded post which has 3 levels - starting salary and progression through the levels will be dependant upon relevant skills and experience.
