Job Description
Stirling Council as a whole, and the Governance Service in particular, has embarked on an exciting transformation programme to best place the Council to meet the needs of its citizens. We are looking for a Civic Driver to join our Democratic Team, working with the Chief Officer – Governance and the Democratic Team to support the Lord Provost and other senior elected members in attending civic events and ceremonial occasions.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a role in promoting the visibility of the Council, and ensuring that Stirling is seen in the best light. Your line management will be within the Democratic Team, and working in close collaboration with others in the team you will play a crucial role in supporting the Lord Provost and other senior members in their functions. Significant driving experience and skills are required, along with communication skills, political awareness and discretion, and a commitment to customer-focused public services.
