Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Business Manager for Clinical Eye Research within the Ophthalmology directorate at the Royal Liverpool Foundation Trust. The Clinical Eye Research Centre was originally created with one Consultant and one Specialist nurse to facilitate ophthalmic studies/clinical trials. The department now has approximately 38 clinical trials/studies recruiting with a full nursing, medical and business team in place to bring forward treatments for the future which will reduce the risks of blindness for many patients. Main duties of the job The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record working within a clinical research business team at band 6 for a minimum of two years. They must be educated to degree level or equivalent or be currently working towards it. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, organisation skills, have excellent attention to detail and have experience of line managing staff within research.
