Orpington Ojays Swimming Club based in Orpington is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Masters Squad Coach to lead 3-4 training sessions per week. Our Masters squad is a friendly, competitive group, ranging from fitness swimmers to national-level competitors.
In addition, there will be opportunities to coach development, junior and senior competitive squads across the club on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver structured, progressive training sessions.
* Set individual and squad goals, providing clear and constructive feedback.
* Attend competitions to support swimmers and offer race analysis.
* Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop training programs and schedules.
* Communicate effectively with swimmers.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivational training environment.
Requirements:
* Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Award (or Assistant Swimming Coach Certificate with strong experience, working towards the Swimming Coach Certificate).
* Proven coaching experience with a high level of technical knowledge.
* Ability to motivate and develop swimmers of all levels.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
