Job Title – Maintenance Assistant
Department - Maintenance & Grounds
Hours - Shifts between 7:00 and 18:00, 5 days out of 7
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
General Duties
1. To keep all mechanical areas in a neat and orderly condition;
2. To provide maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and spa - guest and staff areas;
3. To guarantee that projects are promptly completed, in line with the appropriate specifications;
4. To carry out some painting and decorating duties, as required;
5. To report any operating problems/ maintenance issues to the Head of Maintenance;
6. Any other duties as reasonably requested;
Health & Safety
Basic understanding of legislative requirements e.g. Health & Safety
Key Requirements:
1. Ability to kneel, bend, carry, walk, stoop, climb and lift items;
2. Able to work unsupervised, in a professional manner;
3. Competent at achieving a high standard of finish;
4. Experience in a similar role preferable;
