Position Summary
We have an exciting Leadership opportunity in our Nestlé Logistics Team. The role is the Head of Intermarket Supply. This person leads the IMS team ensuring the coordination of a number of shipping, customs and regulatory activities that enable all our export and import orders to seamlessly enter and leave the UK, whilst ensuring full compliance with all relevant local, country and international legislation, delivering value for money and a high service and quality solution to the business.

A day in the life of Head of Intermarket Supply
This role has a wide scope of impact delivering to and receiving goods from up to 85 different markets, it enables the distribution of UK products to all over the world and similarly enabling the import of some of our most fantastic brands to enable our consumers to enjoy the delights of all our offering.
The key responsibilities but not limited to are:
* Manage the IMS Team who have a variety of expertise to enable our fantastic operation to be set up for success
* Facilitate and lead multi-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders including various government bodies, ensuring compliance to all regulations of the countries involved
* Translate legislation changes/legal requirements of varying complexity into processes that are understood and implemented by the Business
* Ensure meeting of KPI’s, compliance and accuracy for the department
* Understand and manage budget focused commitments
* Contribute to and understand category plans and ensure the actions to contribute to success are executed
* Contribute to the Global market sustainability goals, delivering through leading by example
What will make you successful
The person that would be best suited to this role:
* Proven track record in intermarket logistics
* Demonstrable experience in solid leadership with and without authority
* Evidence of managing large teams circa 20 heads
* Understanding of the relevant government bodies that influence the importing and exporting of goods
