Electrical Designer
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (dependant on experience)

They are seeking an Electrical Designer to join their Pre-construction team.
The Electrical Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining electrical designs for a variety of projects. This includes developing and implementing circuit designs, creating wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical systems. The Electrical Designer must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and experience with AutoCAD is required.
Responsibilities
* Design electrical systems for predominantly water industry applications in addition to other construction projects
* Develop wiring diagrams, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems including the following
Cable
Lighting
Lightening
Earthing
PEXA
DSEAR ( potentially)
Bending radii
* Design duct and draw pit layouts
* Input into technical documentation associated with individual schemes
* Completion of electrical tender assessments
* Create electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and other design documentation including instrumentation schedules, I/O & RTU
* Research and ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations
* Oversee electrical system installation and maintenance
* Evaluate and troubleshoot existing electrical systems
* Provide technical support to Clients
Required Skills
* Designing electrical systems, developing electrical drawings, creating wiring diagrams, testing electrical systems, analysing electrical problems
* Good understanding of associated EICA disciplines
* Understanding of LV Systems (HV not essential)
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
* Proficiency in electrical engineering software
* Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Full UK driving licence
