Your role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks centred around intake, stock management, and issue resolution within our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include managing stock compliance, resolving refurbishment issues, addressing delivery queries, and overseeing the returns process for faulty and unidentifiable goods. Please note that this role will require you to split your time between the warehouses in Pontefract and Head Office in Enderby. You will be required to be in the Head Office OR at the Warehouse four days per week as needed, and one day working from home per week.
Responsibilities:
- Record, report, and resolve delivery-related queries, including refurbishment and compliance issues.
- Develop and manage reporting on the Stock Tracking System (STS) and take action according to the established rule set.
- Monitor and report on branded stock in rework, ensuring alignment with Warehouse KPIs.
- Collaborate with the refurbishment and intake teams to resolve post-delivery refurbishment and compliance issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Manage delivery-related queries, including shipment tracking, investigating delays, and coordinating with Brands and the Supply Chain team.
- Handle the returns process for faulty and unidentifiable goods, ensuring compliance within guidelines and refurbishment procedures.
- Support the stock transfer process back to Brands.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
- Address non-compliance issues and coordinate rework activities to minimise loss and maintain stock integrity.
About you
You will have previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field, bringing strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail. You should be adept at managing stock and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to address queries and coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer applications for data entry and analysis is important, allowing you to maintain smooth operations. You thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, are capable of prioritising tasks effectively, and possess a solid understanding of stock compliance standards and procedures.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure are key attributes for success in this role.
