This is a Full Time Rotational Post
We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to our Team. The role of being a Team Leader is an important role within Fraser Home Care & the social care industry. You will be required to deliver care where and when you are required to, you will require to be flexible in care delivery. You will be given on the job training to enable you to deal with carers and clients queries and to be able to provide on-call out of hours service on a rotational basis. This enables Fraser Home Care to continue to provide the highest standards of respect and care to all clients. Overall ensuring the dignity of the clients is always maintained.
What the role involves
1. Following Practice policies, protocols and guidelines, duties will include:
2. Shift cover as and when required within working hours.
3. On-call cover when required
4. Reporting any issues to the senior management team.
5. Mentoring in new inductees by being supportive when carrying out your on-call duties and when assigned to client runs.
6. Carry out duties as assigned by your Senior line managers.
7. Attend induction, in-house training sessions and staff meetings.
8. Managing and supporting workers so that they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability as part of your day-to-day duties when out delivering care.
9. Carry out quality checks and client reviews
10. Day to day management of client enquires.
11. First point of contact for carers.
12. Monitoring /issuing PPE.
13. Supporting Senior line managers in the workplace according to standards and legislation requirements.
14. Acting as a positive role model to carers
15. Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure individuals get the support they need when delivering care to them and recording relevant information so this can be updated into care plans.

17. Work as an effective and responsible team member, supporting colleagues in a flexible and approachable manner.
18. Continue to partake in pre-arranged on-call rota structure.

Previous experience within a care setting is essential. You will be required to have good organisational and time management skills. The Ability to work proactively and on your own initiative and with attention to detail. Ability to work flexibly and to workload demands. Commitment to developing within the role and keenness to participate in appropriate training opportunities.
You will be required to register with SSSC if your application is successful.
