We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our HR Advice Team to provide hands-on support and guidance on a range of employee relations issue across our diverse organisation. Your role and responsibilities You'll join our supportive, experienced and friendly team of Advisors and will hold a wide range of varied HR relations cases, providing support and guidance through our various processes to employees, managers and trade union colleagues. As an experienced HR Advisor, you will also support the development and delivery of management development training, as well as ensuring our employee relations policies and guidance remain up to date with legislation and best practice. You should have a minimum of 12 months' experience of managing a portfolio of employee relations cases including but not limited to absence management, capability, disciplinary and grievance. If you are seeking a role to enhance your career within HR and develop an extensive understanding of employee relations casework, supporting manager development and advising employees through challenging situations, this is a great opportunity. You will need strong problem solving, conflict resolution, influencing and decision-making skills in-depth understanding of employee relations casework and reaching a resolution, including the ability to balance risk with business need to be able to coach and support managers to own and resolve their people issues and achieve positive outcomes to be interested in case law and legislative changes, and able to implement and improve processes to ensure effective and compliant service delivery proven experience of developing good, positive working relationships with managers and other HR colleagues and prepared to be flexible in support of the wider HR service as required.
