Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nursing Associate to join our vibrant, forward-thinking practice. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the nursing team and will be responsible for participating in the delivery of high-quality patient care. We welcome applications from both newly qualified Nurse Associates and those with wider NHS/Primary Care experience. Ideally 30 hours per week the role is funded and jointly employed through our Primary Care Network but based in the surgery. Opportunities to work in the wider teams is possible if candidates may wish. Main duties of the job About the Nursing Associate role: Nursing associates work with healthcare support workers and registered nurses to deliver care for patients and the public. Your primary responsibility in the practice is the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within your scope of practice to our patient population. The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages. This role will assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
