A bit about the role This is an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Practitioner to work across Wirral to deliver a range of emotional health and wellbeing interventions to children and young people. We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual who is committed to supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. The role will involve delivering a range of early intervention evidence-based programmes, working with children and young people, their families and trusted adults. Working in the Wirral community will give you the chance to do real life-changing work with children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years old. Not only will you be part of a supportive and passionate team within Action for Children, but you will also be collaborating with a range of providers to support the success of Wirral's emotional health and wellbeing provision. You'll need to be comfortable and confident to vibrantly lead the room and engage with children, young people and adults. You'll be quick-witted and able to lead the conversations, through adapting your approach to meet the needs of the service users. About the service We are part of an alliance which is made up of Action for Children, Open Door Charity, Kooth, Hatch and Koala NW, with support from Family Toolbox and our associate member My Mind (formerly Wirral CAMHS). We have been jointly commissioned by Wirral Children's Services, Public Health and NHS Cheshire and Mersey and have come together to radically improve the access to emotional health and wellbeing support for 0-18's in Wirral through Branch, a central point of access for emotional health and wellbeing.
