Long-Term Teachers are looking for dynamic and adaptable cover supervisors to join our growing team, providing essential support to our outstanding schools across South Devon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in both mainstream settings and special educational needs environments, supervising classes across a range of subjects and year groups. If you’re passionate about education and skilled at maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
* Support students with SEN, tailoring resources and teaching methods to meet individual needs
* Collaborate with support staff and other relevant personnel to ensure a cohesive learning experience
* Provide feedback to the class teacher following each session
About you:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is essential
* Strong classroom management skills, with the confidence to and engage students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Flexible and adaptable, able to work across different subjects, with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN
* Able to drive and have access to your own car
