We are looking to recruit one Full-time and one Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of professionals.
The successful candidates will demonstrate:
• an ability to work with a range of young people with SEND, including physical impairment
• patience, sensitivity and an understanding of child development and learning
• a strong team working ethos
• good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
• an ability to work in a SEN role to support learning in the classroom and ensure individuals make progress
• effective communication with young people and teachers
Full-time: 31 hours per week
Part-time: 13 hours per week over two days (days to be agreed at interview)
Core hours are 8.30am – 3.00pm per day
39 weeks per year (term time only)
Fixed Term Contract ending 31st August 2026 (NB the term of the contract has been extended from initial advert)
NJC Grade D SCP 4 - 6 FTE £24,404 - £25,183
£12.65 - £13.05 per hour (depending on experience)
£17,489 - £18,047: Pro-rata salary for 31 hours per week
£7,334 - £7,568: Pro-rata salary for 13 hours per week
