We are currently recruiting for a teacher to teach children age 5-11 years in a specialist Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision based in Liverpool. The school has provision for primary age children, age 5-11 years, who all have Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key responsibilities include to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils with an EHCP for SEMH needs, to support the children's educational development, and to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will be required to monitor and assess pupil progress, to provide feedback and implement interventions. You will have strong curriculum knowledge, and a knowledge of effective strategies for teaching children with SEND We are looking for a teacher who has high expectations for all pupils and belief in bringing out the best in every child. This is a long term position to start as soon as possible
