IT Help Desk Operator We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our IT Support Desk. This role will be mainly responsible for providing our 1st level IT support desk services to our users, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of knowledge management systems within the IT department. Engage in proactive problem management to identify and address potential issues before they impact our users. Contribute to group projects within the IT department. Advise users on possible solutions for specific requests, offering technical expertise and guidance. Our Requirements Previous experience in an IT helpdesk, support role or similar position. Excellent technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve various technical issues. Good knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. Exceptional customer service skills to provide high-quality support to users. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with users and technical teams. Proactive problem-solving abilities, with an ability to identify and address potential issues before they arise. Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle multiple support tickets and projects simultaneously. Willingness to occasionally travel to other UK sites as required. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills as needed.
