Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and compliance, with the ability to analyse data and identify trends.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the quality team to ensure that all audits are conducted efficiently and effectively. This includes planning and implementing audit schedules, ensuring non-conformances are understood and addressed, and providing support and advice on the effective management of findings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and adhere to the programme/project audit schedule.
* Ensure the audit schedule is planned in line with client and contractual requirements.
* Coordinate audit information, including notifications and close-out meetings, in accordance with Amentum procedures.
* Act as custodian for the audit schedule.
* Disseminate audit reports throughout the organisation and client teams.
* Manage the closure of all audit-related findings.
* Support project quality engineers and senior quality managers in delivering project objectives in line with the project quality plan/strategy.
* Analyse audit and NCR returned data to establish trends and improvement opportunities, providing advice and reports to SLT.
* Contribute to the generation and maintenance of company procedures and records, ensuring compliance with the latest customer requirements.
* Handle supplier queries, customer complaints, and feedback, ensuring effective correction and corrective actions are taken.
* Support the investigation of non-conforming products/processes and ensure effective correction and corrective action is taken to close out NCRs.
* Promote awareness of programme/project quality requirements through meetings, promotions, quality shares, and forums.
* Work in line with the Amentum Integrated Management System (IMS) and support any improvement opportunities in processes and work instructions.
* Promote company and client quality objectives and expectations.
About You:
* You have a higher level diploma in a related discipline.
* You are an ISO 9001 lead auditor and have experience in supplier auditing.
* You have excellent knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
* You have a good understanding of ISO 14001 and 45001 requirements.
* You have experience in process improvement and are a member of a professional body such as CQI.
* You are computer literate and have excellent time management, planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
* You are willing to train and learn with continued CPD.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
