Job Title: Registered Children’s Home Manager

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (Dependant on Experience)

We are a specialist recruitment company supporting high-quality children’s residential care services. We’re helping our client find a passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional care for vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of a children’s home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
* Lead, train, and motivate a team of care staff to provide top-quality care.
* Develop care plans and risk assessments to meet individual needs.
* Oversee the health, safety, and safeguarding of all children in your care.
* Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently.
* Maintain strong relationships with social workers, parents, and external professionals.
* Regularly review and improve care quality to meet high standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience as a Children’s Home Manager or Deputy in children’s care.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* In-depth knowledge of children’s care regulations (e.g., Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Proven ability to create care plans, manage risks, and safeguard children.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
* Full UK driving license.
