The role in brief: An opportunity has arisen to join PMM, an Accountancy Age Top 100 firm local to Lancashire and Greater Manchester, in the Corporate Finance team as an Executive. Who we are looking for: This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a move into the Corporate Finance world, or already has some exposure in to Corporate Finance. It’s perfect for someone with real long term ambitions and passions to grow a career within CF, but already has a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance principles. What the role involves: As an Executive, you will gain valuable insight into Transactions and the day to day operations of a Corporate Finance team. You will support the Corporate Finance team on many of the following areas: Transaction Support •Handling initial buyer / seller enquiries • Processing Non-Disclosure Agreements • Chasing up feedback from potential buyers • Accompany to colleagues meetings, site visits, etc Marketing & Business Development Support • Drafting and updating marketing materials and sales literature • Follow a targeted marketing process, such as producing research lists to find prospective buyers • Market research to identify marketplace trends • Working with internal Marketing Team to issue mailshots, including following up on mailshots Operational Support • Maintaining and adding to the Corporate Finance mailshot database • Helping with producing and processing engagement letters • Maintaining buyer spreadsheets • Assist with client take on processes • Ad-hoc support as required Your development We provide a complementary range of learning opportunities to ensure that you maximise your potential in areas such as becoming a trusted adviser, how to network, presentation skills etc with opportunities for progression around the firm. These will comprise personal effectiveness as well as your technical skills. We have 6 monthly performance review conversations to ensure your development is on track, as well as optional monthly 1-2-1s. You will also have the opportunity to work with a mentor. We also encourage you to get involved in wider firm initiatives and have your say on how we can progress on our journey towards being the best North-West firm of finance professionals. We would also look to support you through any final exams and study support you may require, as well as support you with the CFQ thereafter should you wish.
