What your impact will be: Support function for the quality and timeliness of the financial reporting requirements in accordance with our accounting policies (US GAAP), and both local GAAP reporting requirements. Responsible for supporting & monitoring against system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded. Owner of the entity balance sheet ensuring integrity and assist in ensuring risks and opportunities are managed. Analyse financial data and provide insights to management to support decision-making and strategic planning. Support the day-to-day management of the year end and audit process to ensure smooth delivery and statutory sign off. Monthly, quarterly, annual closing and reporting. Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to the entities, showing deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Ensures that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. Responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure compliance. Annual accounts, support planning and preparation for audit. What you'll need to succeed: UK Qualified Accountant or part-qualified Accountant with working experience. Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in UK. Previous experience of SOX processes and controls together with excellent technical accounting skills. Experience of SAP required. Flexible, able to consistently meet deadlines and consistently motivated and focused on delivery. Appreciates the concept of materiality together with the benefit of detail.
