Employment Solicitor – Exciting OpportunityLocation:Newcastle / SunderlandFirm: Leading, Rapidly Expanding FirmWe are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing law firm with offices in both Newcastle and Sunderland, who are currently looking to hire an experienced Employment Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic and supportive team, working with a varied caseload.Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse mix of Claimant and Respondent work, including:
* Grievance and disciplinary proceedings
* Unfair dismissal
* Redundancies
* Discrimination and harassment
* TUPE matters
* Employment contracts, handbooks, and policies
* Previous advocacy experience would be an advantage.
* Engaging in marketing and business development activities to help grow the employment department. The Ideal Candidate:
o At least 2 years PQE in employment law.
o Strong client care skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
o A proactive, confident approach to both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
o Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
o Advocacy experience is a plus.
o Enthusiasm for contributing to business development and firm growth.
