This role will sit within the organisation's HQ in Newcastle City Centre with travel to sites across the North East when required. The position is for 6 months on a temporary basis to support the HR team, but could have the potential to go permanent.
Role requires:
* Driving licence and car
* Working on-site and surrounding sites in the NE with occasional home working
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be the ER Specialist managing the ER caseload for the organisation while supporting on other ad-hoc HR activities.
* Provide advice and guidance to managers on more complex employee relations and absence management policy, procedure and process issues
* Supporting the HR Advisors and HR Business partners on case work
* Provide support to managers carrying out investigations and hearings
* Coach and support new or less experienced ER colleagues
* Supporting managers on Occupational Health referrals
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong employment law knowledge
* Experience working in a similar position previously
* Managing ER casework
