Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced Environmental Health Investigations Officer.
The candidate must be able to show experience in working in a local authority regulatory capacity for housing and ideally pollution control work including HHSRS assessments of dwellings, HMO licensing, and investigating complaints of poor standards of accommodation.
The assessment for statutory nuisance from residential, commercial and industrial sites would be an advantage. The candidate needs to be able to manage a wide ranging case load and be responsive to customer requests and provide updates both verbally and via written report.
The candidate must be proficient with local authority IT; knowledge of the Idox suite of software would be an advantage.
