Applications are invited for the post of Analytics and Planning Manager, within the Faculty of Social Sciences. One of the largest and most diverse Faculties in Europe, Social Sciences includes seven different schools, with teaching and research varying across a wide range of topics, theories and methods of analysis.
As an Analytics and Planning Manager, you will inform and underpin the research, education and people strategies across the Faculty. You will be responsible for analysing and disseminating management information and data to facilitate effective decision-making, good governance and provide strategic guidance to staff across the Faculty.
You will be required to use your initiative, think analytically and creatively to solve problems, use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty, Schools and Central Professional Services teams to provide excellent data management support.
Working closely with colleagues across the Faculty and Central Professional Services teams, you will coordinate and deliver excellent administrative support which enhances strategic decision making.
The post is offered on a fixed-term contract available for 1 year 1 month, hours of work are part time (21.75 hours per week). The University supports hybrid working with arrangements agreed locally.
