An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fife Zoo as a Senior Keeper.
We are seeking a keeper excited and enthusiastic about working in a developing small zoo who is flexible, resourceful, innovative, and will embrace the challenges and pace this brings.

Although you will work with all our animals, including Grevy’s zebra, five species of primates, and small carnivores, you will have specific responsibility for caring for our expanding bird, reptile, amphibian and invertebrate collections. Currently managing turacos, hornbills, and waterfowl and with planned developments to include EEP species of hornbills, owls, cranes, and passerines.
You will also support our native wildlife conservation work, including surveying our on-site wild red squirrels and amphibians and creating our wildlife education and study reserve.
You will hold the DMZAA or have a BSc or equivalent in an animal related subject.
You will be supported in your role, receive training, and have the opportunity to engage with the zoo industry representing Fife Zoo.
Salary to be discussed. Accommodation may be available. You will work 38 hours per week over 5 days, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
