About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Aberbeeg, a low secure service for men. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs to prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist catering staff with meal preparation and cooking, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors.
* Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation.
* Ensure all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
* Contribute to maintaining operational hygiene standards and compliance with company policies.
* Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary and planned meals.
Requirements
* Relevant catering qualification (desirable).
* Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
* Experience working in a similar role.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
