This role is suitable for a System Administrator, with security or Infosec experience within a SaaS based business Location: Hybrid ideally 2/3 days per week in our offices based in Redditch (B98 9NR) Salary: Up to £55,000 Manage and optimise our Azure environments, databases and server operations Maintain and administer our cyber security policies, proactively safeguarding networks and systems through risk mitigation and patching Lead cyber security initiatives ensuring ISO, Cyber Essentials and PCI accreditations are maintained and upheld We are currently looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our Technical Operations team here at TelXL. We are a growing Communications business, specialising in CCaaS (Contact centre as a Service) creating and delivering Voice, Digital and Omnichannel solutions. We work in the Channel, partnering with MSPs, Resellers and VARs to deliver exceptional customer experience. As a System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless performance, security, and optimisation of our platform, while enhancing its availability, capacity and cost effectiveness. This is a great opportunity to expand your technical expertise and learn a variety of technologies. Y ou will: Ensure network and system security through patching and proactive industry awareness. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues for internal and external customers. Lead disaster recovery and manage server backups, data archiving and system configurations. Install and configure MS and Linux server operating systems. Collaborate with external parties to manage secure connectivity and new environments. Maintain security and system documentation. Administer Azure environments, servers and databases. Automate existing processes in deployment and configuration. Schedule and organise system upgrades and maintenance. We are looking for: At least 2 years as a System Administrator or similar role with a focus on security or Infosec within a SaaS based business. Experience with Microsoft Suite, Server 2012/2016 and IT infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem solving and providing an excellent customer service.
