Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic integrated Alcohol Drug Recovery Service, and will be responsible for the direct line management of Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, Social Care Workers and Social Care Assistants.
They will work closely with Nurse Team Leaders and colleagues from other care groups and be responsible for the day to day management of NHS staff.
The Team Leader position is critical to the delivery of safe and effective recovery oriented care and treatment and has an essential leadership role in the implementation of MAT Standards and local and national strategies. Team Leaders are therefore required to be enthusiastic, recovery focussed and able to manage change and risk.
Experience of Alcohol and Drug services is preferred but not essential where an understanding of integrated service delivery and care and treatment can be evidenced.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
