As an Finance Manager on the controls & compliance team, you will play a critical role throughout the cross-functional departments providing the assurance, governance, and guidance ensuring control compliance according to global standard control framework/policies/principles internally as well as statutory standards externally. The ideal candidate possesses a solid manufacturing & operational accounting background, genuine interest in controls and accounting policy, high attention to details and ability to develop strong trust and relationships with key stakeholders. Who You Are & What You’ll Do The FM will be aligned with our key business priorities and play an integral role on cross-functional teams, to drive the control compliance culture and performance. This position is responsible for leading the risk/controls processes at North America level, including but not limited to, providing strategic direction / instructions, maintaining local policy/Table of authority/control frameworks, training and advice on application of control & policy requirements, and review of the Sarbanes-Oxley/OCA compliance documentation, assessment and testing. This position will also support External and Internal Audits, as well as any new business acquisition /separation and Digital transformation /transition Projects Launched in North America region, focusing on supply chain areas. RESPONSIBILITIES Become a subject matter expert on the Global Financial Control Framework (GFCF) with the ability to provide direction, insight and implementation assistance to the control stakeholders Lead local change management of updates to documentation /process/way of working as new internal standards or systems are implemented Be familiar with supply chain finance activities as they relate to controls to provide direction when controls are being tested Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Closely working with manufacturing sites, logistic, CM parties and S CFS to sustain a high control performance Assist with internal Financial Control Assessments, Audits and other compliance driven requirements. Track audit findings, drive development of action plans, and follow up on remediation actions and issue closure Support innovation and transition projects, review the to-be process design and perform control impact assessments ALL ABOUT YOU Professional skills and experience Relevant years’ experience in control, audit or finance roles, internal controls experience is Experience of innovation or process excellence improvement projects is highly preferred CPA or equivalent preferred Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure Proven track record of being effective in a complex operating environment and driving business performance Experience in managing a large and complex set of stakeholders is an advantage Experience of working in a virtual team environment would be an advantage. SAP experience a plus Leadership Behaviours Growth mind-set and a bias for action Ability to manage multiple aspects and complexity Problem solving, takes personal responsibility and accountability for execution and results Experience of working effectively in cross functional teams Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
