Our client is seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join their team in Birmingham. This role offers an attractive salary of £32,000 and the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily invoice approval, service charge budget approval, managing cost team mailboxes, supporting property managers and the wider estates team, and liaising with various teams to ensure smooth running of the account. What you'll do:
* Approve invoices on a daily basis ensuring they are ready for weekly payment runs.
* Challenge any budget increases over 10% and any ad hoc service charge requests outside of budgets.
* Sign off ATA forms and ATP forms after checking all budget and apportionment information in depth.
* Update service charge master spreadsheet and create monthly reports.
* Manage cost team mailboxes for NatWest and TUI, acting as main point of escalation.
* Support property manager and wider estates team by providing necessary information/documents.
* Complete quarterly KPI's for ad hoc invoices processing times and send to client accounting team.
* Produce daily movement report showing outstanding invoices.
* Hold regular meetings with property managers to resolve any long-standing issues and queries.
* Liaise with Data and AP teams daily to resolve any issues.

* Proficiency in using TRAMPS software for invoice processing.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with various teams.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience in producing detailed financial reports.
* Strong problem-solving skills to resolve any issues or queries.
* Ability to provide training and assistance to junior team members.
