Job Summary
We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorder mental health services on a full-time or part-time basis. Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be required to work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders. The post holder will ensure that people who use services, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity. You will provide excellent clinical leadership and actively develop your team, along with expert advice to our hospital and community specialists, managers, and directors on what is needed to deliver excellent care and future strategic directions. The Consultant has a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and for the proper functioning of the department. The consultant will liaise with General Practitioners, hospital and community specialists, and other agencies wherever relevant. A specimen timetable illustrating how the consultant timetable may be arranged within the current framework can be found in the attached job description. You will engage with the development of your Job Plan.

Qualifications (Essential)
* GMC Registration
* GMC Licence to Practice
* Medical Qualification
* MRC Psych or equivalent
* Specialist Register (Subspecialty)
* CCT or equivalent
* Eligible for CCT within 6 months of the interview date
Experience (Essential)
* Approved/eligible for approval for Section 12 of Mental Health Act
* Approved/eligible for approval for Approved Clinician status
