Description:
The company is seeking an Audit Managing Director responsible for overseeing audit engagements and client relationships. This role requires the selection of audit procedures based on a risk-based approach, as well as managing personnel, reviewing audit workpapers, financial statement disclosures, and researching new accounting codifications. The Audit Managing Director will also develop best practices for internal controls, supervise staff, and manage day-to-day client interactions, among other strategic duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Audit Management: Oversee audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing fieldwork, and completing engagements on schedule. Review audit workpapers and financial statement disclosures.
* Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and identifying value-added suggestions from audits and reviews.
* Staff Supervision: Train, supervise, and evaluate Staff, Seniors, and other team members. Provide guidance and motivation to drive high performance.
* Business Strategy: Develop and execute business strategies and comprehensive plans to achieve company goals. Provide strategic advice to Shareholders and the President.
* Internal Control Development: Work with clients to develop best practices for internal and operational controls, as well as reviewing operational budgets and assisting with business financing.
* Special Projects: Take on special projects as assigned by leadership, ensuring maximum performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
* CPA certification is required.
* Experience in developing strategic and business plans.
* In-depth knowledge of market changes and factors influencing the firm.
* Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance metrics.
* Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work in the office 2-3 days a week.
